Richard “Wink” Winkelpleck is a lab technician in the San Luis Obispo, California office. He received his Associates degree in landscape construction from Mt. St. Antonio College and received his plumbers and pipefitters license. His primary responsibility at Jenike & Johanson is fabricating equipment and modeling. Before J&J, he worked as a welder at a number of power plants including geothermal, gas powered, and the longest at a local nuclear power plant. Before that he was a commercial plumber.
His interests include making different blends of wines and spending time with his grandchildren. “I like the flexibility of this company, I enjoy some of the unique fabrication and problem solving challenges. I also enjoy sharing a good bottle of wine, especially since I had grandkids!”
