Meet Martin Esaki

Martin_Esaki1 Martin Esaki, a senior consulting engineer in our Toronto office since 2005, has been involved in and managed a number of bulk solids handling systems, testing, and analysis projects with major mining and engineering companies. With a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, Brazil, he wanted to get to know the world and learn new languages. The first stop in his international travels was France, then England, the Netherlands, Angola, Congo and Gabon.

Finally, he settled in Canada, where he was welcomed and soon became a permanent resident. He quickly identified himself with the Canadians and became a part of their culture. Before joining J&J, Martin worked primarily in the field of aerospace consulting engineering, familiarizing himself with CAE technology, always involving either solids, e.g. stress and multi-body dynamics analysis, or fluids, e.g., CFD and acoustics. And, since 2005, he has become a valuable part of our international engineering team.

“What I like best about working at J&J is the opportunity for site visits, to keep on exploring the world, while taking on the challenge of understanding the flow of bulk solids, which I had never heard of before joining J&J.”
